The kick-off meeting for Sade’s Junior Board will be held on Monday, October 11th at 3:00 p.m.

Sade’s Walk A HUGE Success!

We did it!

We had our first walk today and the weather was beautiful. I wanted to start small and get it right and hopefully I did.

Today, 50 family and friends walked to raise money for Sade’s Buddy Bags. We raised enough to make 60 bags for kids who are chronically ill. So now the work begins.

The Kids2kids Council (thats the Junior Board) will start deciding what should exactly go in the Duffel Bags. We will call local hosptials and find a clinic or clinics that need our help. Once we put the Buddy bags together, we will let everyone know exactly where they went.

If you want to still donate to us…just end a check in the amount of $35 to sponsor a bag. Go look under Programs to learn more about the bags and all of our programs.

A special thanks to all the walkers and congrartulations to MacKenzie who finished first and ended up doing 22 laps.

Thanks for visiting my site.

I am Sade and I started a foundation for kids to help other kids. I wanted to give back to others because so many people have watched out for me and made such a difference in my life.

So over the next few months we will be adding to the site, recruiting new Board members, young and old and raising money to make a difference. Take a moment to learn what we are all about.

Yes, it has my name but its not about me at all. Its about kids coming together to help out kids who are sick, economically challenged or in natural disasters.

We know we can do it…we just need your support. Here is our first event……
